So I hear you say “why modify your muffler, just go and buy a pre made custom muffler.”
Good point, it’s easy, all I’d have to do is pop down to my local bike shop and buy one off the shelf. Well it seems for the sprint it’s not actually that simple. The sprint st 1050 cc has a under seat muffler, so there isn’t that many manufacturers interested in taking on a system that basically fits the one bike and the one’s that have are charging like a wounded bull, putting them well out of my price range unfortunately.
So over on the Triumph rat forum there’s a brilliant write up on how to dismember a stock muffler and essentially create a straight through sports muffler.
So I thought,lets have a go at putting one of these together, sounds like a bit of fun.
